QRGateway Acceptable Use Policy

At QRGateway, we consider QR codes to be one of the most critical technology enablers at the interface of the natural world with the digital world. We feel a responsibility to ensure technology is used in positive and constructive ways that benefit people and society.

We have set some general guidelines for using our solutions and services that you agree to when using our services. This includes helping others act in such ways.

These principles include, but are not limited to:

Scan or check for vulnerabilities of our systems and networks in any way.

Violate any authentication or security measures.

Unauthorized access, modification or use of permission-requiring shared service areas or non-public areas of the service.

Interfere with or disturb the network, host, or user of the service (by overloading, spamming any part of the service, or any other similar activity) or disobeying any request, procedures, policies or regulations of the networks connected to the QRGateway website.

Abuse or create accounts for any other means than using our publicly supported interfaces - for example, mass account creation.

Disrupt users of the service by sending unsolicited communications, advertising or spam.

Send promotions or advertisements without proper permission for products or services that are not yours.

We were manipulating identifiers by forging email headers and sending misleading or altered information with the aim of concealing the origin of any user content transmitted through our websites, including including “scam” or “spoof”.

Impersonate any person or entity or otherwise misrepresent or misrepresent your affiliation with an individual or entity.

Collect or store any data or personal information of other service users.

Exploit QRGateway solutions, features or goodwill, such as “unlimited” scanning that goes beyond “normal” behaviour.

Publish, share or download any files posted by other users that are illegal and not lawfully distributed in such a way (e.g. files that infringe the intellectual property rights of any party), contains viruses, is morally or otherwise objectionable, or contains acts of extreme violence or terrorist activity, including terrorist propaganda).

Harass, threaten, defame, abuse or violate the legal rights of employees or representatives of QRGateway and users of the service.

Promotes hatred or bigotry against any person or group based on their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or impairment.

Violate any applicable local, state, national or international law and the privacy or rights of others.
