Whether sharing a business card or generating a response using a mobile phone, there are silhouettes of QR codes everywhere in life. Starting with iOS 11, the system camera has added a new feature of scanning QR codes.
You need to swipe left on the lock screen interface to scan QR codes and view web pages quickly.
When scanning, open the camera interface and aim at the QR code. When the camera recognizes the QR code, a banner will pop up from the top, and the Phone will display the related app. Once clicked, you can go to the respective app to complete the following operations. If the app isn't already adapted to this feature, a banner opened with Safari will pop up after scanning the QR code.
Guides (grids) are an essential feature when using mobile photography. Completing the composition better can help you define the relationship between the Phone and the captured subject. In iOS 11, in addition to the existing grid reference lines, the camera also adds a horizontal, diagonal reference line, which is convenient for you to judge the horizontal relationship between the Phone and the ground when you hold the Phone and shoot down.
Before using the horizontal guides, you need to go to "System Settings - Camera" to enable the "Grid" option.
The new horizontal guide is very similar to a compass and includes two crosses. When the yellow and white cross icon matches precisely, the Phone is landscape.
